Ebel Ebel 38574 wrist watches news:
This company has left no leaf unturned and has made all the possible changes to adapt itself with changing needs of time. This makes companies like Alain Silberstein a world leader in their own ways.
I bought myself this watch years ago, after I had seen it several times in several different shops in the Caribbean. I liked the LCD display for the day and date, because my eyes weren't good enough to read the tiny day/date on other, more ordinary watches. But I didn't ask enough questions. The battery has to be replaced every eighteen months to two years. No problem, right? Well, there's a gasket that has to be replaced at the same time, and it is NOT easily available. In St. Thomas, at Little Switzerland, it's not a problem. But many other places, including Raleigh, NC, it is a BIG problem. I took it to a reputable jeweler, they didn't replace the gasket, and as a result, I had to have the entire internal works replaced, at MY expense. $$$ Next battery, I was in St. Thomas, and got it done right. Next battery, at an expensive jeweler on Park Ave. in NY, got a battery which lasted two weeks, then leaked. Internals had to be replaced, again. Once, I sent it back to the Omeg
Got this in a lot with some others. It's missing the hands, the crystal and some other things but it's adorable!Doesn't work, it's wound tight. I'm surprised on how light it is.The back seems to be stuck, not surprising. I'll try to pry it off so I can post a movement shot
Alright, now that I am reasonably certain I am going to purchase the Emergency Mission referenced in my last post, my next question is in regards to the UTC module.I know that the UTC module is no longer being produced, and they are only producing the co pilot module now. Can anyone tell me how long ago the UTC was discontinued, and is it possible to find them new at an AD, or would my time be better spent looking on the pre owned market?I would prefer new, however if it is going to be a huge endeavor to find a new one, then I will not be completely heartbroken if I have to purchase one second hand. Thanks!
Hi,I am in the process of buying a Rolex GMT Master 2 with serti dial and brown(?)/ root beer dial. I am very unsure whether this is an original or if it has been modified. It is a 2005 production, sold first time in 2006. It comes with certificate and two boxes. Should it also say anything about the dial and the bezel in the certificate?I am having trouble uploading the picture from my mobile... Thanks for all replies.
