Ebel 8255F41/6235134 wrist watches news:
In our November-December issue, on sale now, R¨¹diger Bucher, editor-in-chief of WatchTime’s German sister magazine, Chronos, speaks to Breitling Vice President Jean-Paul Girardin about a wide variety of topics, including the development of its in-house B01 chronograph caliber. Click here for excerpts from the interview.WT: Breitling presented its first in-house movement in 2009 ¨C the caliber 01, a chronograph movement with automatic winding and column wheel. When was the decision made to develop this caliber, and what is the strategy behind it?JPG: The idea had already been around for quite some time. You’ll recall that in 1999 we had begun to have all of our movements certified by COSC as chronometers. Even then we were asking ourselves what we would have to do as an independent company to ensure our long-term success. It was clear that it would not be appropriate to make everything ourselves, since there are highly specialized, first-class suppliers for so many individual
Can someone tell me which Sub (model or S/N) has the ROLEX ROLEX ROLEX etc, on the inside of the bezel? Thanks in advance,Domenic
Does anyone happen to know the MSRP for the rubber strap and deployant buckle for the 45mm 8500 PO? I know what they go for on ofrei, but might be in the area of some dealers next week and if any of them had the straps in stock I wanted to know what the price comparison would be. TIA!
Hello,What is the difference between 5416, 5450, 5250, 5350. They look the same to me.
I have an Explorer 2 16750 with a 3186 Movement. The hour wheel click spring recently broke so that when I move the crown to the 2nd position, the hour hand moves smoothly instead of clicking from hour to hour. It also does not line up correctly with the minute hand. After researching the boards, I see that this is a common, known issue by Rolex. What should I expect to pay for RSC to fix the spring, given that this is a know manufacturing problem? I prefer not to send my watches to RSC as I don't want any polishing or dial/hand replacement. Finally, will a new replacement spring fix the problem or should I expect this to remain a weakness throughout the life of the watch?
