- I owned this watch since I am in the military. The battery life is long-- I still have the original battery since December 2003 (6 years to this date). If you want a reliable easy to read and rugged watch buy this one.

Ebel 9057A28-3461035531 wrist watches news:
Guys I can't thank you enough for pointing me to our favorite AD and the help you gave a few weeks back when I was shopping for my first watch that was gifted to me by my wonderful girlfriend/fiance to be. I'm super happy with the purchase and am looking to add my next watch to my collection soon. Thanks again.
". . . It was during this time (1966-69) that Hamilton started to incorporate the highly innovative Buren Microtor (aka Micro Rotor/Microrotor) movement into certain upper tier watches (in addition to their ordinary hand-wind and traditional automatic watches). The Buren (now Hamilton/Buren) Microtor was the disputed first automatic wristwatch movement to eliminate the sizable external oscillating weight inherent to most automatic winding watches. Instead, it utilized a much smaller weight that was entirely integrated into the chassis of the movement. This design allowed for a substantially slimmer automatic watch that still retained a center sweep second hand. The Microtor concept was also conceived by Universal Geneve for use in their famous Polerouter series of timepieces. The official title of "first Microtor movement" is still in dispute, in spite of remarkable similarities that exist between the Universal and Buren designs."Source: Answers
You don't wear a watch!I spent nearly a week without a timepiece on my wrist. Very odd.My one observation:My left wrist suffers from atrophy - I must wear my bracelets too tight.
Hi everyone, I've finally been bitten by the AP bug and have decided to pick up either a 15300 or 15400. I'm sure this topic has been beaten to death but I'm torn between dial colors, either silver or blue. I'm leaning towards the blue but I'm beginning to like the silver more and more. Part of me feels that the silver dial may be a little too dressy though. Might be nice to finally have a white, dial in my collection. Also keep in mind that this will most likely be my only AP. Anyways, I'm just curious as to which you chose and why. Wrist shots and any opinions would be highly appreciated. Thanks!
