Ebel 9087F21-9225 wrist watches news:
This Doxa is a early 1950's was sitting in my to do box for over two years. I finally go around to it..
...while in NY for the GTG couple of weeks ago - of course we hit as many watch stores as possible. While most of the popular models were not available, the big "T" store had this nice 5165.While it is 2mm smaller than 5167, I thought it looked pretty good on my smallish wrist.....while I admit it looked better on Slasher's wrist as we was dressed better ;)This is really a nice and understated watch.
Just past midnight here on the USA coast so I thought I would get an early start on the Sunday wrist check. I will be wearing my EL WTF watch (based on the EL Park Ave.) This morning and most of the day.
Hello all, I¡¯m new here and honestly haven¡¯t read too many post yet. Please forgive me if this has been covered recently. But I am just about to give up my search for any watch that has a particular list of functions. Because of my job I spend as much time working in darkness as I do light. Because of that I need a watch that has a backlight that shows most if not all the information on a watch dial. Such as Timex¡¯s Indiglo, however Casio¡¯s LED lights suck (which is on most of their G-shock), and therefore will not work. Casio¡¯s EL backlight is good, but they don¡¯t couple that with the other features I like. Citizen claims that only the Skyhawk fits my criteria, but at night the analog feature is useless. Now comes the picky part. I like watches that don¡¯t need battery replacements if at all possible. Like Solar, or Kinetic etc. Atomic time keeping, with a date that displays day of week, and day of month. All this coupled with an analog face. Oh, and it absolutely has to be water resis
Hi guys. I recently bought a pre owned 5167, and has easily become my favorite watch, even more so than the 5711. I like it so much that I'm starting to look at the 5164. My question is to those that have upgraded. Is it really worth it? The price difference is around $13k for the extra complication and wrist presence. I really don't travel that much, so won't be using the complication much. I guess I'm considering it because it's the better version of a watch I'm nuts about. I'd have to move something from my current collection, probably the SubC plus some cash. I'm just not convinced the upgrade is worth it. That's why I'd like to know from people that have done that exact move. Here's a photo of the current collection. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro
