- In my last trip to Switzerland I met this watch and fell in love with it (actually I fell in love, initially, with a Link but there is no way for me paying the price it costs). I spent my entire trip drool over it in the stores but the price was a little bit over (475 Swiss francs) and I knew I could get a better price in [WEB]. When I came back from my trip I found this piece by 300 bucks in [WEB]. It was still a little bit over my regular budget for watches but I was in love with it. So I purchased it and no regrets so far. The piece is beautiful (I loved the yellow hands, but my wife not so much.) and robust. Its glass seems to be impossible to scratch. It was an excellent purchase until I got money for a :-).

Franck Muller 9880HS DT L wrist watches news:
I love the look of 60-70's Omega's. I purchased two this week and hope to receive them shortly. One is steel and the other is gold-plated. The gold-plated one is a 1977 model. The steel one is unknown. Doe anyone know wich it is? They are both quartz models.01.jpg02.jpg03.jpg04.jpg05.jpg[edit]It looks a lot like this one.62.73.172.171/eMuseumPlus?ser...=F&sp=T&sp=295or this one:62.73.172.171/eMuseumPlus?ser...=F&sp=T&sp=299
Hello Forum members, have some questions for youWhat is the entry level Patek and the least expensive one? Does Patek only make dress watch? Thanks!
A few days ago I managed to get together enough funds to get another one of the Bernhardt Officer watches. This is the Vintage model, the one with the two tone dial. I received it a day ago, wore it for the day and then decided to go ahead with my plan Yes, I had a plan since the beginning, to change the look of it a bit, I really liked the dial but did not seem to get along with the hands I had purchased already some blued hands for whenever I would have been lucky enough to get the watch, so I went ahead and did the swap. Here is the result. The watch is 44 mm wide, has an Swiss ETA/UNITAS 6497 movement that hand winds. I know that there may be a leather strap that would look better on it, but since I cannot wear them, I have it on a Bond Zulu strap. The watch is large but comfortable since it is not very tall and the case is nicely sculpted to follow the lines of the wrist. I really like these models from Bernhardt Watch Co. Not only they are well made and use nice quality mat
Hey Guys,I have seen the light and finally acquired my first Breitling. I hope you all like it. Sorry about the crappy photo's.
Good day everyone,I've been struggling lately about a decision between a 5711 and a DD40 YG silver/roman.Truth is I prefer the 5711 but it's important to me to be able to wear a watch all-day, everyday, all the time. The DD40 is probably more durable etc (although the WR of the 5711 is 120m v. the DD40 is 100m).I'm a one-watch guy (except I wear a BR 03-92 on strap mostly in the winter).I wear a TT ceramic sub at the moment (which i'm going to trade). I sleep with it, shower with it, splash around at the beach, take it in the pool, wear it to yoga, etc. I wouldn't obviously re-pave the driveway wearing my sub (or any watch). What do you all think? Would I be expecting too much from the 5711? Is it too fragile? Am I putting the 5711 in too much danger of needing service (which I understand could take upwards of a year)? Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.Mike
