Hublot 309G.CM.110 wrist watches news:
Rik,How much of a difference is there in the ETA movements between the top of the line chronometer vs the next level down? The example I am thinking of is my Ball EMII Diver, which is not a chronometer. Is the chronometer version of the movement that much better or has it just been regulated more thoroughly? My understanding is most modern automatics can be regulated to run within COSC standards. If this is the case, why do chronometers cost so much more. Is the cost of chronometer certification so expensive to push up the price of watches or is it the extra time spent regulating the chronometers, better parts, or a combination of all the above. Thanks,Jeff
Hi guys!Been wanting this as my daily. But, is the bezel (black ceramic) scratchfree unlike its SS counterparts? I know that ceramics can chip off if hit hard but I don't think that will happen to me. Had the 42mm Elephant a while back and the bezel easily scratches and annoys me. Mostly office works only. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! *picture not mine (for reference only). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
