IWC 3719 wrist watches news:
The Bond-Style NATO that I had on my SMP tried to donate my much-loved watch to Neptune, so I contacted the place I bought the strap from and let them know about the defective buckle on it. They offered a replacement Zulu strap at no charge to me, so I of course accepted. They were out of 20mm black straps. They were out of 20mm olive straps (first choice), but luckily, they had my 2nd choice in stock - ORANGE! It's not shy, it's not quiet, and it's not understated - it's just orange. If nothing else, it's visible. It's not my go-to strap (yet), but for going out into the woods, to the beach (when I don't want to wear the rubber), and going to work, nylon just can't be beat. Here it is:I'm going to have to order a green or beige one in the near future...
I've always been completely intrigued by a super-high quality minute repeater. A 'good' one will have a purely musical tone to the chimes. I've seem the Patek's 5 models, but see they are not listed in the latest price list. Knowing these apex's of mechanical watchmaking are the definition of a ultra-luxury watch and something I'm likely never going to be able to afford, I'm still very curious to know the prices. Anyone know the prices of the 5078, 3939, 5013, 5033 & 5016?Personally my favorite model is the 5013R. Minute repeater, perpetual calendar & moon-phase all wrapped up in a rose gold case. Oh, and if anyone has any pictures of these models, let's see 'em!
Hey guys, wondering if you have ever seen this combo before? I know AP doesn't make plots for it but they do have straps in a similar size. Thanks for the heads up.
A little birdy told me today that the Patek increase is looking to be 14% (at least in Canada)... Anyone have any confirmation of this? Looks like at least the Aquanaut/Naut etc will be affected...If this is the case, I'm happy that I bought mine when I did!
Looking for my first rolex to commemorate me becoming a grown ass man. I simply cannot choose between the options. I'm starting to think I'm trapped in some kind of computer simulated experiment orchestrated by a malevolent superintelligence. Please help.My options:Silver Stick Dial 116234. Pros: Could probably buy this from and AD immediately (is that a good idea?). Beautiful. Classic. Strangely less common vs SS models I see in the rest of this alien computer-generated simulation.Cons: This watch is almost too fancy for me. 116710Pros: I love the GMT feature. I watch videos of people using the quickset hour feature before I go to bed. It relaxes me.Cons: I don't travel THAT much. The big bezel numbers are kind of dope, kind of too in my face.116610Pros: Iconic. Probably started my interest in watches in the first place.Cons: man i never go diving are you crazy? Also the waitlist is too long for this. Please help me, fellow experiment mice.
