- Very, very nice watch, it looked well worth than the sale price; my only complaint is the missing plastic guard you usually find at the back and at the bracelet clasp, making me think that the watch was used and/or returned.

IWC 5026 wrist watches news:
I bought an IWC electronic last year on eBay and may regret having done the purchase. I've had it throughly cleaned, tuned, new case gasket, crystal, ring below crystal, and date ring. It is a cal. 150, the dial is a champagne color and in perfect shape and it keeps perfect time. However, it does not have an original crown or case. My question is this: I like the watch but know it is not a complete IWC. Should I try to obtain the correct parts, enjoy the watch as is, or sell it for what it is? Thanks for any advice.
Been going through a couple of boxes that have been stashed away for who knows how many years. A great trip down memory lane, made all the more rewarding by the discovery of my first ever watch! I was convinced it had been lost in various moves over the years. It was a present for christmas 1966 from my folks when I was 7 years old! I remember being just about the proudest kid that ever lived! I think I had it serviced once (after an accidental dunking) and this is about its 4th band. It never missed a beat and was a great time keeper. Wound it up - and away she went - almost deserving of honorary Hamilton status? I think I owe the old girl a clean and service.Anyone know anything about Vymo watches? The web is not exactly dripping with information.
So, a guy at my office was admiring my new PAM "0" and mentioned that he also owned a Panerai. I was thinking "cool, a fellow watch enthusiast, now ill have somthing to chat about with this guy when were in the elevator at least three days a week". The next day he shows up with what appears to be from a short distance a very nice looking PAM 090! He offered to let me check it out and throw it on my wrist so I began to give it a quick once over......i will say that i am no expert, but a few things stuck out right away that didn't seem legit. First, there was no serial number on the case back, as in the letter proceeded by 8 numbers divided by a slash in a small rectangular box. Next I noticed that the crown seemed just a tad bit loose, not tight and precise like mine. and the third thing was that the date function appeared to be controlled by a recessed push button at the 7 o'clock position on the side of the case. Would it be safe to assume that this watch was a replica or are there s
Hi,I recently bought my wife an Invicta watch from eBay described as being a 1920's vintage Invicta in rolled gold:Attachment 61762The writing on the case says:1837InvictaStainless Steel Back25018 or 2501B (hand stamped not engraved)The bracelet is an extendable MONTAL stamped rolled gold. Any information about this beautiful hand-wound watch would be much appreciated!
This looks to be a bargain even at full Buy It Now price. Is there something wrong with it that I'm not noticing?Only problems I can see are the regulator being all he way to one side & no pictures of left sub-dial re-set to top, so it might be a creeper.Still looks like a good price compared to the ones I've seen in London shops for ?1200-?1600
