Last year Christophe Claret generated the biggest buzz at Baselworld with the DualTow, a wonder of the horological world created to mark the Manufacture’s 20th anniversary. The Claret Manufacture is indisputably one of the most innovative and skillful in the watch industry. In simple terms, the DualTow NightEagle is a single-pusher planetary-gear chronograph with striking mechanism and tourbillon. I'm starting to like the looks of Panerai very much. I would like to start doing some research on some models but need some direction. What Is the bread and butter for Panerai? Kind of like sub for Rolex... Is it the Pam 000, 111, 112? Which ones have the best resale incase I want to move on to another piece. Thanks for all the help so I can start conducting my more serious research. All the best,Glenn
Hi everyone, thanks for the suggestions ahead of time. I'm going to Manhattan around the holidays and wanted some suggestions on watch stores to visit in Midtown. Of course, I'll hit up some of my favorite brands' boutiques and Wempe, Cellini, maybe even Tourneau's locations for the selection. My question is any suggestions for places for preowned or otherwise perhaps along 47th street or other areas of Midtown I should go see. I'm by no means a vintage or preowned expert so to speak so probably just browsing for the sake of knowledge/seeing some watches in the flesh! Thanks much
