Even though he has created many very complicated watches, French watchmaker Francois-Paul Journe has always been interested in accuracy above all. His newest timepiece, the Chronom¨¨tre Optimum, which made its debut last week at the F.P. Journe boutique in New York City, takes the quest for timekeeping precision to a new level.The Chronom¨¨tre Optimum, which Journe calls the “masterpiece” of his eponymous brand’s Souveraine collection, incorporates in its manufacture movement all of the technologies that Journe has developed ¡ª which have previously debuted in other Souveraine watches ¡ª to ensure ideal timekeeping precision and stability.The new watch includes a double barrel with two springs, in a parallel arrangement that helps to reduce friction by eliminating the lateral pressure on the wheel. Christopher Ward C8 P7350 Chronometer Watch
As of late, Christopher Ward has taken to generating quite a number of special, limited-edition watches. Some of these have taken the form of honoring military planes of the past, and yet others have delved into the realm of automobile racing, with some of those pieces actually incorporating metal from a specific vintage race car. Now, with their release of the Christopher Ward C8 P7350 Chronometer, we have a watch that carries metal that flew in the Battle of Britain.Given that the Battle of Britain happened in 1940, you might be tempted to think that they simply harvested the metal from a boneyard somewhere. That's actually not the case. There is still a Spitfire ¨C known as P7350, the 14th one to come off the line ¨C that is still in the air as part of the RAF's Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. Picked this beautiful timepiece up in a trade, I love the Hamilton brand.This is a very slim and sleek timepiece, it has the ETA 2893-2 GMT mov'tinside. This was very hard to take photos of, I hope you enjoy them.

Conversation with AD's (by telephone)
I was calling a few AD's to see if they have a watch I am considering (RG ROC black dial bracelet). The 2 that I called said that they are not offering any discount and that they could cover insured shipping. The 3rd offered a discount, but not enough to be a good deal. I'll admit that I didn't spend too much time building rapport but it is known that they offer better discounts.How much time do you guys spend negotiating, building rapport, etc.Wish people would not want to waste time and just make a good deal. Wire funds and enjoy the weekend. Smh!

My watch box update
Not a while ago, I posted my watch box asking everyone's opinion for let going few Rolexes to add some more flavor to my watch box. This was my watch box:I was thinking to add a Lange or Patek dress watch in the box, anyway it has to be on the strip. Grand Lange 1, Lange 1 time zone, 5205R and 5130R were on the list. All these choices didn't really ring the bell, I need something casual but not too dressy.Thanks the RTF and everyone, I found a watch meets all the desires, a good condition pre-owned watch to avoid the first high depreciation, white face clean look, casual but not dressy, either to be Lange or Patek. After a smooth transaction with takuya, I got this 2nd generation Lange 1815 Chronograph Flyback.
