Whats my GMT Master worth?
I got an old GMT Master that I have dated to 1966 by the serial number. I don't really want/need the watch but want to make sure I get a fair price. The watch is 18k gold but has a leather band. What should I expect to get for a watch like this. Also it has a brown dial and bezel and is in good condition. Please let me know.Thanks

Recently:Rolex has once again acted as the underwriter of the annually organized Alzheimer's Association Rita Hayworth Gala. The event was held on October, 10th to pay tribute to American screen legend Rita Hayworth. The actress, who was especially famous in the 1940-s, became the sex symbol of the era. She was stricken with the Alzheimer disease in her 40s.The event took place at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City. The organizers managed to raise more than 2 million dollars for the Alzheimer's Association.The event was hosted by Louise Kornfeld, gala chair, and Allen Brill, underwriting chair, Rolex president and CEO. Evening everyone,a long-time lurker has now finally signed up. Thanks for the very useful content so far. Maybe you can help me?I am in desperate need of a RG PP to round off my collection. I am mostly wearing suits. So far, my thoughs circulate around these:- 5196R with black matte strap- 5296R Sector Dial with deep navy blue strap- 5119R with regular factory strapI have not looked at 5000R and 6000R yet.So, what are your views on these reference numbers?
