Hands-On: The Vacheron Constantin Historiques Cornes de Vache 1955 (Live Pics, Details, Pricing)
At the risk of either overstating the obvious or resorting to a bad cliche, the Vacheron Constantin Historiques Cornes de Vache 1955 is a time machine in both senses of the word. Yes, it tells time, and quite well, but that’s not why everyone got excited when this watch was announced at Watches and Wonders in Hong Kong a couple months ago. That enthusiasm was due to the watch’s throwback good looks and perfect proportions which are inspired by a forebear in Vacheron’s deep archives. Going hands-on with it reminded me just how good a classic handwound dress chronograph can be. 1 OF 6 First, a bit of history. The Cornes de Vache (which I’ll call it from here on for the sake of brevity) is based on a watch made in very small numbers starting in 1955, simply called the ref. 6087 but nicknamed the “Cornes de Vache” due to its lugs bearing a resemblance to the horns of a cow. No Date Submariner information
I have been looking at Submariners for some time, and would like to buy a no date one, but am looking for some reference, and pricing information.I would love to have a 5513 or even a milsub, but am realistic in my financial abilities.I was wondering which reference, or vintage no date Submariner is the most accessible to a new buyer?I saw a review of the 14060M, and was wondering if this reference would be widely available, and at the lower end of Submariner pricing. Thanks for any help

Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch help !
I really don't know anything about Omega watches so don't be harsh if I say anything stupid I want to know about the Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch the one with the Sapphire Crystal see through caseback.I saw it today at an AD and I don't know why but it just hit me. I was drooling all over it I always wanted an affordable chronograph watch with a decent quality and a bigger case ( I think it's a 42mm ). So far I've realised that the Speedmaster is a bit of a bargain ! I know that you get a lot of history but I really have no clue about Omega's reliability or quality.Being a hardcore rolex fan I am a bit confused whenever I think about Omega's as I always thought that Omega watches are a step below rolex in terms of quality, reliability etc. ( even though I've heard that they are great timepieces ). So what do you guys think ? Is it really worth it ? By the way what's the retail price for one of those ?I'll check the price tomorrow at the AD but I would like to compare the Greek price wi
