New collector....or so i thought.
Hello everyone. I figured I would introduce myself. My name is Greg, and I am from Philadelphia. I am new to watch collecting.....or so I thought as my title says. I dont have many watches yet, but i am slowly building my collection. well, slow may not be the right choice of words as i bought 3 watches this week. I think of myself as an equal opportunity watch buyer. I dont discriminate against any brand. I feel that you dont pick a watch, a watch picks you. so if you arent willing to try on anything and everything, you may be missing out on something good. That being said, I will get to my question. So I was at Macy's the other day and as always i was browsing the watch counter. I tried on about 20 watches or so until i came across a nice Bulova that spoke to me. I told the salesman i'd take it. I had never bought a Bulova before so i was quite excited. However a gentleman standing next to me said that was a nice watch i was buying and asked if i was giving it as a gift. I told him no

Went in to my AD todayWent to look at the white dial daytona, i cant say anything about the daytona that you guys do not already know. Its a timeless classic a true beauty.But something else caught my eye aswell. An omega grey side of the moon. I was blown away!!!! It is such a beauty!!!!!!44mil but fit was perfectDial is amazing - platinum i thinkAnd the leather strap is great too!My mind is saying daytona but my heart is saying omegaI have never liked omegas and tbh there is not much in their range that excites me but this GSOFM stole my heart!!!Opinions please Ps could acheive 15/20% dicsount from an AD on the omega but none on the Daytona.
