- I bought this for my brother for Christmas, and he loves it. It is nice and heavy, and appears to be a high quality watch. The box is also great; it looks like a recliner!

Invicta 18786 wrist watches news:
The American watch brand scene just gained a new addition with Chicago-based Oak & Oscar. The brand is entering the market with a watch called the Burnham, a limited-edition piece that packs a lot of detailing into a straightforward design. Oak & Oscar looks and sounds like something straight out of a hipster’s how-to handbook, with references to bourbon and crafted-leather accessories, but there is some real substance here in the execution. 1 OF 6 The Burnham gets its name from the architect and urban planner Daniel Burnham, who left his indelible mark on the city of Chicago more than 100 years ago. The watch is an interesting study in dial design, with many subtle details working independently of one another. The matte-grey dial is referred to as “non-militarized,” meaning great lengths were taken to ensure the sandwich dial and each of the Arabic numerals didn’t come off as a stencil set of numbers. The 8 and 7 were particular challenges

Hi guys,It's the time for a new watch!!!I already own a PAM392 and a RO 15400 in black...For my next watch I was initially thinking a PP Nautilus 5712, but I think I'll move on to Patek when the 'time is right' (I am still quite young and all that, so I want to wear chunky, younger looking watches:) )So the two models I am thinking are.... (I know this probably came up a lot)ROO Safari vs Panda! (The good old pals who always fight for their popularity )I've quite a quite small wrist, but I was ok with a 44 mm PAM (Though I own a 42mil now) and 41mm RO fits me perfectly. Both are absolutely stunning pieces and I am slightly tilting toward the Safari at the moment, because I think it's more versatile (and it looks fabulous on a rubber strap)... also the creamy, subtly dial looks very classic. On the flip side, Panda looks a bit more energetic with red hands, sub dial etc.It feels like Bentley vs Ferrari :s (if you know what I mean)Here are some of the points that I need to consider:-Versa
I came across this watch in a junk pile at my office. It was disassembled but complete, and the movement was free of rust or corrosion. It had been sitting in a drawer, with the movement exposed to the elements, for at least 15 years. It's a 10k gold filled case with an American hallmark inside the case, the case is exceptionally well preserved. The plating is thick and undamaged. I gave it a light buff with a cape cod cloth and replaced the crystal, then had the movement overhauled. It runs great now, and it is in remarkable condition. I think the dial and hands are original too, if not a really good period redial. Since taking the photo I have replaced the crown with a period-correct Omega signed item. What's unique is that it is a calibre 510, which was a small-run manual wind movement made in a series of less than 30k examples in the 50s. It looks similar to the 30mm calibres, but it's only 25mm diameter. 30mm calibres were made in the millions, to give you an idea of how rare these
PAM321 - Thanks again to DsvidSW! Picked up a new rubber strap from the NYC boutique a few days ago and I'm loving it!
