Invicta 19846 wrist watches news:
The new Moon Phase watch from Perrelet drew my attention because of the sophisticated formal looks, and the big moon. A new trend in mechanical moon phase watches is the use of a large "realistic" -looking moon. The moon phase window in the watch takes up almost half of the dial and is more than just a side complication. It is the main draw of the watch!Depending on who you are, knowing the phase of the moon is useful (you lycanthrope!) or trivial. Either way it does look fancy, and makes for a spiffy look for a man, or a woman. And at 40mm wide, it is a size that is big, but not obscenely so for a woman (see the diamond-bezel version?with the white alligator strap to see what I mean).A Moon Phase complication is inherently part of an overall calendar complication. The Moon Phase uses a dial periphery based date calendar, in addition to displaying the time. Inside the watch is a Perrelet automatic mechanical P-11 movement (with a 40 hour power reserve). The watch isn¡¯t too big either a
I am looking at an Omega that has a dial I like on it, but something just seems off on it I am thinking about passing but I thought I would ask you guys first. Is this Omega correct?Omega Seamaster Manual Wind Mens Wristwatch
GuysHave you subject your watches to conditions of mechanical stress before and noticed any variation in their performance? My watches have accompanied me on my morning runs and while the AT and GMT have not been affected by the constant pounding on tarmac I discovered last spring that the Speedy Pro would gain 5 to 8 seconds per run. Alarmed at this though I suspected that the old Lemania-based movement may have its' limitations, I switched to using my Seiko beater for such strenuous activity. However a few months back I started to use the Speedy again and this time there was no change to its' performance. Indeed every time out and I have since increased both my pace and distance, the Speedy would now be unaffected by the swinging movement of limbs. I'm not complaining. Just wondering how this has come to be.Y'all have a nice day pals ZIN
Hi..I never own any German watch before but been serious considering adding a nice German watch to my collection. Lately I been looking at MG Big Sport M12 and Damasko DA 37 from the Gnomon website. I especially like the clean look and solid build of both watches. Is there anybody w experience with these two watches? How do they compare?Appreciated if anyone can help out here. Tks. I realized I had not taken good/real pictures of my Jazzmaster Chrono- my first Hamilton. I guess I shouldn't admit that to this group, but anyway - we like pictures, so...B
