- The watch was beautiful, but quite impractical. With a gray trim and shimmering pink band, you need to have the perfect outfit to match it, which I don't. So, I had to return it.

Invicta 1933 wrist watches news:
Casio seems to be gradually bringing the G-Shock and Pathfinder lines closer together. The newest example is the incredible Casio Riseman GW-9200.
My wife and I would like to thank Piaget and HODINKEE for our trip to Switzerland to visit Piaget, and to see its manufacture in La Cote aux Fees, and its headquarters in Geneva. Here are a few of my thoughts:Proud of being Piaget and taking pride in one's work: When I was listening to Yves Bornard (who's been with the company for 40+ years!) talk about the history of Piaget I could see his glowing pride. When the watchmakers showed us what they are working on, I too could see their pride in being Piaget, and how proud they are with their work. Yves takes out an employee log book from the 1940s. It is old, and its pages are yellow, and falling apart. How many companies can show visitors something like that today?Bao and Yves in discussionWhat it means to be true manufacture. One of the things that stuck with me, and help me get a clearer picture of what it means to be a manufacture was Yves explaining the importance of having the movements assembled up in the Jura Mountains where it is
It's a casual Saturday night for me....
I'm sure this is a touchy subject potentially, but I didn't see a FAQ or thread on the general pros and cons of buying via the 'net. What have your experiences been? Saved a lot of $$$ and feel retail stores in some mall are for suckers? Feel buying off the 'net is just crazy and you would never do it? Will do it if the 'net based store is an AD? Have made major purchase off say Ebay? Have a trusted 'net based store you have used you wanna recommend and or PM me with?As for me, back in the day I have purchased a few lower end Tags and a Omega Seamaster from a non AD 'net outlet without any problems. I would not do that with anything more expensive then that however. My Rolex Yacht Master I purchased from a retail store and got 10% off the MSRP.Interested to hear opinions, experiences, recs, etc of internet based buying, which I realize is a large topic.
I have a Colt Automatic Chronograph with a black dial. I'm sending it in for warranty work (running +10sec). While its in i was thinking about having the dial switched out for a Blue one. Has anyone had this done or know what i should expect to be charged for a new dial?
