I was out shopping today checking out the wine for this evening, and there was a gentleman to the right of me doing the same thing as he reach out with with his left arm i noticed he was wearing an Omega Seamaster blue face i have never seen anyone wear an omega never mind this gorgeous blue bezel model so i said"thats an omega isn't it m8""yeah why""[COLOR="Black"]like the blue bezel really stands out,i've only ever seen pics on the net i haven't seen one up close before,i've got an Omega"[/COLOR]"good for you" and walked offAt that point my face was like a tomato and my wife bollocked me for making a fool out of myself in future i will keep my mouth shut.Thanks

"Mystery" Hamilton
It's Friday, and here's a Friday Hamilton. I thought it looked appropriate with my old calabash pictured with a copy of the first page of "The Story of the Man with the Watches," from the Strand Magazine, July 1898, taken from my copy of "The World Bibliography of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson." Nope, the snippet doesn't give a clue how the rest of the story evolved, except I'll bet pocket watches were involved. But I am sure the solution was elementary - to Holmes, anyway.

Normal AD behaviour?
So I¡¯ve decided on my next Rolex, a GMT BLNR.I don¡¯t want to pay a premium for a pre-owned, so I went into my local AD (in the UK) today with a view to put my name on a list and curl up for a long sleep until I get the call.So anyway, I went in and enquired, making it clear I¡¯m fully aware of the waiting list and the demand, only to be told they are no longer taking names as the ¡°list¡± is full!I didn¡¯t quite know what to say, until I was very quickly offered a pre owned one for weeeellll over MRSP. I swiftly declined.So, it¡¯s left me a bit disappointed really, going from thinking that I will get one eventually, to being told there¡¯s no way of me actually ever getting one through an AD, or this one at least. I plan on doing some ringing around tomorrow, I¡¯m not holding my breath though. Any tips?Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
