Hey all,I was browsing the Rolex website today & found this site:rolex/en/#/en/xml/ins...rfection/indexThere's 5 short movies there - maybe 1-2 minutes each. Not sure if their new, but I hadn't seen them before. The cover:The movementParachrom hairspringEverose goldCeramic bezel904L steelVery informative. If you get a chance, check each one out. I especially liked the Everose, ceramic & 904 ones. The "Ceramic Facts" I posted came from the Ceramic Bezel movie. Also, the 904 shows how the cases are stamped and are polished by a robotic machine. The Everose Gold one shows links for a presidents bracelet being made, and then the bracelet itself being made by another robotic machine. Very cool. And definitely answers the question "are Rolex 100% hand made?" Definitely not (but we knew that didn't we ).
I would like to buy a plexiglass to my datejust. Reason for this is because I wanna try to remove the bubble. The official Rolex dealers in norway will not sell parts for Rolex watches. Is this some rule that rolex have made? That no rolex dealers can sell or give away rolex parts?
I wanted to get some thoughts, especially if you own both. I recently picked up a blue dial 5711, and was thinking of trading in my 5167 toward a 5726a on a strap, but was concerned they might be too similar. Originally, I was hoping for a white dial 5726a on a strap, but I tend to lose interest in light colored dials it seems. Thoughts?
I bought a Panerai 663 last March, first strap was from Malio - i posted photos then - https://.rolexforums/showthread.php?t=533016I got a strap from Handmadestraps a while ago, and then just before Xmas one from Bosphorus and I took some new photos the other day.Follow me on instagram martintylerwatchesWould love to see more straps on a 663, i haven't gone outside of brown yet!
