- This is a great watch for daily use. I am always getting complements on how dope it looks. [...] my battery died in less than a year. Otherwise, this is great watch!

Jacob & Co. JC-M47sr 2.00 carat bezel wrist watches news:
The idea for the Reverso was born in India in 1931, in response to English polo players’ need for an unbreakable watch. The reversible case allowed an elegant timepiece to survive rugged matches, and enabled the owner to personalize it by engraving his initials, family crest, or a few inspiring words on the dial-protecting shield. After 80 iconic years, this new Grande Reverso Ultra Thin embraces classicism in the form of simplicity. At just 2.94mm thick, the diminutive Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 822 enables the manufacture’s design engineers to create a Reverso slimmer than ever before. While the case with its generous proportions asserts a strong presence on the wrist, its slenderness and subtly curved shape make it both light and comfortable to wear. The strength of the Reverso design is reflected by the fact that it has been reinterpreted many times over the years, even taking on square proportions, yet in each incarnation, the fundamental aesthetic shines through. Does anyone know what a fair approximate cost for a full service with click spring replacement should be? I'm shocked with the first quote !!
It started with a visit at Nymans UR in Stockholm there Kurt Claus was invited for some IWC info and then the day after we going to Shaffhausen. The report is in Swedish but there is some nice pitures to look atwork54/Forum/59521...ortage%21+2006
Ok. So my wife is turning 40 in a couple of months and I've decided to get her a watch as her gift. I've gotten it down to 2 models. Got some input from her in passing as we window shopped. I'm trying to decide between an AP ROO SS white or a Blancpain Leman model in white. Both have diamonds on the bezel. The AP comes on a rubber strap and the Blancpain comes on either stain or alligator strap. The AP is much more sporty while the Blancpain is a bit more dressy, but sporty enough I think to wear casually. She already has dressy pieces from JLC and Cartier. Here is my dilemma. The Blancpain is an automatic movement and the AP is a Quartz. Is it worth paying this much money for a quartz movement? She likes the idea of a quartz because she doesn't have to adjust the time before wearing it. I just have a hard time getting my head around it. I just wish AP would make this model in an automatic without the chrono. What do you guys think?
