- I gave this to my husband as a surprise. He liked it a lot. The size is good for a man or a woman & the style is unique. My only complaint is that the watch hand looked orange in the pic and it is red. Can't comment on the reliability yet.

Jacob & Co. JC-57da 3.25 carat bezel wrist watches news:
I saw this list on another forum, and I thought that it would be a fun discussion. Please note, I have driven/worn each watch/car listed below, I have been fortunate enough to own a few of them, and I think each one brings something special and unique to the table. So, here it goes: Rolls Royce: Rolex: Built to last forever, superbly reliable, staid styling, and dated, but proven engineering.Ferrari/Lamborghini/Maserati/Lotus: Panerai: Gorgeous, what is inside is suspect, spotty build quality, spotty reliability, but, when they work, they look and run beautifully.Bentley/Aston Martin: JLC/Zenith/Admars Piquet: Slightly less well built and less reliable than Rolls Royce, stylish, equally sporty and luxurious, and current engineering.Mercedes: Omega/Cartier/EBEL: Nearly as well built as Rolls Royce, conservative, current engineering, emphasizing luxury over sport.Range Rover/Jaguar: IWC/Ulysses Nardin/Corum: Less well built less reliable than Mercedes and BMW, stylish, elegant, contempo
Hi,I just took a look at my new Khaki Field Mechanical Officer's watch and saw it's 11 seconds slow on this, the 6th day of wearing. Is it within normal timing?
Its Christmas in my part of the world now.Hope all of you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Good day...it's been a while since I've been participating here. Life has been busy with it's curveballs and hiccups. My daily wearer is a Tag quartz. Suits my needs perfectly withstanding working in the gravel industry now, and enduring an active motorcycle and boating season. (no pics available at this time since it was left with the watchmaker yesterday for a service)Just fresh back from the watch makers, yesterday is my grandfathers watch. This watch was found in a crusty paper bag under a pile of clothing and laundry detergent that had gotten soaked. The movement was rusted, seized and coated in a blueish mould not having seen a wrist since Feb of '66. The watchmaker took his time with it, some 7 months but I'm thrilled with the results. He was diligent in keeping the old patina of the face.IMG_0218_zps54629fc0.jpgNext, my father's golfing watch. Nothing special about the watch itself, but it was worn by my father when he enjoyed his second most passionate pastime.IMG_0216.jpgMy f
So I finally tried this amazing watch on last night at my AD, what an amazing dial! it really pops....only problem was the size, I have a very small wrist and there was too much space on both sides of the lug; when compared to a daytona, the top and bottom of the watch extended more above my wrist....I also tried a ROO with RC and it fit pretty well, I would say it looked and felt like a better fit even-though it's still too big for my taste as I'm looking for something I can wear with dress shirts on a daily basis.I was wondering how the 15300 compares as far as lug to lug size goes from the top and bottom where the bracelet joins.Does 15300 have the same silver/white dial? in the pics it seems it's just white? Thanks in advance!
