We've talked a lot about the Maratac Pilot watch on worn&wound. It features a Miyota 8245 21 jewel automatic movement, domed sapphire crystal, great looks and sells for just $200. Let me say that again, its sells for just $200. That's an unreal price for a watch with this styling and components, so it wasn't too hard to convince myself to pick one up.*Check out our full review of the Maratac Pilot watch here.The Maratac Pilot comes in a simple "watch taco" case with a black Maratac mil-series strap. The watch taco is actually quite nice, with a nylon shell, rigid construction and soft interior. This is a great bonus item to receive with the watch, and I have used it several times when traveling. Longines vs. Tag vs. Omega newbie warning
Hello,I'm new to the whole luxury watch buying scene and My husband wanted to get me a nice peice of jewelry and I deicded I wanted a nice watch. I've worn the Swiss army watch I'm currently wearing through my undergrad and graduate school and it's still going strong with no visible scratches.With that said I want a watch I can wear everyday that won't go out of style in couple years, that has a feminine style and perhaps a little bling and that won't be destroyed if I wear it to the beach or the gym. I'd love to say it's a watch I want for my lifetime, but I'm fickle and will probably grow tired of it after five-ten years and want something different.I've been looking at the Longines hydroconquest with diamonds inside and outside the bezel, the Tag aquaracer with diamonds and the Omega aqua terra, which is a little out of our price range and seems more masculine to me. I've also been looking at the resale Rolex's but still a little out of range. I just can't decide which I like the be

Your Most Treasured Watch
If for some reason, by some disaster, you were able to only keep one watch out of all you own, what watch would it be and why?For me it would be this Elgin pocket watch that belonged to my grandfather. Circa 1930's.I remember as a small child sitting on his lap and playing with this very same watch. It still keeps great time today. Every watch I own can easily be replaced for a price. But this watch can not be replaced and therefore it is the one that I would save if I could only save one.
