Jacob & Co. JC-11BC wrist watches news:
Basel World is always a lot of fun for us. Not only do we get to see all of the newest releases from the big boys like Omega, Rolex, TAG Heuer, Blancpain, Patek, and Breguet, but we also get to see some friends that we only get to hang with a few times per year. It's even more fun when some of those friends happen to be some really talented watchmakers doing things in a completely different way than those guys mentioned above. The Gr?nefeld Brothers are truly talented watchmakers (both trained at Renaud et Papi), and two honestly good guys. Which is why it's so great to see them pushing things past their time-only, mega-bad ass One Hertz with oversized dead-seconds and show us a brand new in-house tourbillon: The Parallax. 2 OF 5 Blake was nice enough to give us a run-down on this piece when it was announced (read full details here) so I'll just point out a few things that struck me about this watch. First, it really is a direct extension of the One Hertz, aesthetically.
hello, im new here and was wondering if anyone had any info on this watch. I've been doing some research online but have had a hard time finding any info. so any info on when it was manufactured, value, etc thanks!
Yesterday I went to the regional hmt showroom. (not too far away from my house) I had to buy 3 pilots (1 for me and 2 for bio) alongwith a watch as a gift for a friend of mine. Unfortunately they didn't have a single pilot but I got a decent for my friend, the hmt JanataA good find for 12$ isn't it?The same day I read bio's blog about using the swiss army knife as a watch tool. I opened the caseback of my hmt kohinoor and took this picAnd now for the best part, day before yesterday, me and my dad went to the Chandani Chowk area of Delhi. We were just window shopping when we saw these beauties in an optician's shop. He said he has many more at home, watch collection being his hobby and when we offered to buy the 50's omega, he said he can't part with even one of them. I'll be back at his shop one day to see the remainder of his collection. Too bad I wasn't carrying my digicam, took these with my phoneHe claimed this omega is from the 190xHe said this seamaster was made in 195xAnd finall
Recently I came across an editorial in the luxury magazine "Departures" titled "KEEP TIME WITH RED WATCHES. Being enthralled with high-end watches with bold, red accents myself, and having seen a tremendously positive response to our HURRICANE CX Swiss Military Watch model in RAF red, I wanted to share this editorial with the forum:KEEP TIME WITH RED WATCHESThis season¡¯s red watches are a bright, bold alternative to heavily complicated timepieces of the past.
