Jaeger LeCoultre 144.8.94 wrist watches news:
IWC brings the Yacht Club back in the iconic Portuguese case as the 45.4mm Yacht Club Chronograph, the first sporty model in the Portuguese family. The movement is IWC’s manufacture caliber 89360. Its chronograph permits the recording of aggregate times of up to twelve hours on the common counter for the minutes and hours and can be reset to zero via the flyback function at any time while running, so that it is instantly ready to start measuring a new time. Built for sea duty, a screw-in crown and crown protection help protect against the elements, and the case offers 6 bar water resistance. Consistent with the sporty theme, this watch has luminescent indices and hands – a first in the Portuguese family. The Portuguese Yacht Club Chronograph is available in three variants:– steel with a silver-plated dial, rhodium-plated luminescent hands and appliqu¨¦s.– steel with a black dial, silver-plated flange and rhodium-plated hands and appliqu¨¦s, also luminescent.–
I just got a watch from the Bay for about $4.00. I open the case and the movement is a 19 ZUAN ZSHbelow on one of the plates some chinesse charactors ???? I that waltham was american. any clue to this watch. is the movement a seagull??
Okay I made a post a couple of days ago asking what you would buy with $200, well some of my ebay auctions sold for more than I was expecting. So now the question iswhat Diver or Chronograph style watch would you buy with $350?
Dear All,in this forum as in many others from time to time discussions about prices and discounts for a specific model appear. It seems that usually there is an official price, given by the brand and perhaps used only by the official dealers, then there is the "usual price" given by most shops who always claim NOT to be official dealers and explain that this is the exact reason why they can give lower price, then there is...any kind of price in the web.Now my question is, what are the way one can reasonably check if a watch is genuine and legitimate? I am considering since several mounths buying a AP RO (the basic model) and prices range from 12,500 to 7,000 US$, I am pretty sure that I can easily spot a replica or a missmatched watch, but I have learn that AP does NOT have a register of stolen watches so I could not check whether the watch is not stolen. By going to "well-known" jewelery shops I can probably get to the 10,500 US$ range and be reasonably safe but there is still a huge
