Jaeger LeCoultre Jaeger LeCoultre 7585 wrist watches news:
These two limited edition Perrelet watches go together right? Sure they do, gambling and 007? I am going to be careful and not mention James Bond. Perrelet doesn't mention James Bond and I don't think they licensed the right to use that IP franchise. Though apparently "007" was OK to use. The imagery they use however when discussing the Turbine 007 watch on the new Turbine micro-site is strongly evocative of the James Bond theme - without outright saying so. The official name by the way of this watch is the Perrelet Turbine 007 License To Play watch. Then there is the Perrelet Turbine Pokerwhich if you have a "license to play," you can. This piece actual comes in three distinct models. The difference of each? The cards displayed under the turbine.? Version 1 (Ref. A4018/1) has random cards and a pair of sevens. Version 2 (Ref. A4018/2) has a pair of sevens and two royal flushes. Version 3 (ref. A4018/3) has a pair of sevens, three kings, three jacks, and a few other random cards. Don't
Here is some serious French testosterone in a watch. Made for or influenced by the special, elite operations branch of the national French police known as RAID. The highly secretive special force is interesting because they often recruit people directly from the public, as opposed to existing police or military personnel. The purpose of the group as part of the national police, is to combat and investigate major crimes and terrorism. RAID stands for "Recherche Assistance Intervention Dissuasion." In English, "Research, Assistance, Intervention, Deterrence." They seem to kick enough ass to get a watch made for them with their logo on it.St. Dupont make watches, among other luxury items, and will soon release a limited edition set of these RAID watches. The "Service Without Fail" part of the name is apparently RAID's motto. At first glance I like the watch. It is a bit "heavy" on the eyes, and does feature a extreme boldness, but in an appealing way. Although the watch does feature a des
The green, white, and red colors of the power reserve indicator disc are a subtle reminder that this new limited edition watch from Oris has something to do with Italy. The dive watch is actually made as a limited edition piece with the Col Moschin in mind. Col Moschin is the Italian special forces. The only one that they have I believe. They seem pretty bad-ass (duh), and are known for having a very arduous training regiment. Col Moschin is also known as the Italian 9th Parachute Assault Regiment (you can read more about them here). While most of the elements from the Oris Col Moschin limited edition watch are taken from other Oris dive models, there are a few unique elements that makes the watch worth looking at.In mostly titanium, the watch is 49mm wide. It doesn't wear that big due to the thick bezel. Oris has a special ring grip around the bezel that it calls the "Rotation Safety System." Part of the outer bezel is in tungsten. The point of the system is to prevent the bezel from
Hi Rolex Forums,I'm new in here, so I hope that you will receive me well, I might not spell it all right, hope you can understand anyway :)The thing is that recently there was an Audemars Piguet watch at an auction at Bruun-Rasmussen auction house in Denmark where I live. Unfortunately, I didn't win the auction, but I really liked that watch so now I'm looking for another but so far I have not been able to find just a single picture of an identical watch, even after several hours of Googling. I was hoping that maybe one of you could help me with a reference number or maybe even a name. I have tried emailing Bruun-Rasmussen, but they haven't replied. I have some information about it:Casing, needles (aren't they called that?), timemarkers and buckle are all 18kt goldWhite dialDiameter is stated to be 27mmAround year 1985Caliber 2003/1Very thin - I tried it, about 3-5mm is my best guessManual winding Little blue stone on the thing that you wind it up with. Which model do you think would be most appropriate for a business professional?I was set on the subC with or without a date until I tried on the datejust 41. I have yet to try on a subC, but I have tried on a gmt master ii. It's a nice piece, but I prefer the less busy bezel/dial of the sub. I don't need the gmt function. The PCL or a fully brushed bracelet both work for me. I'm usually in the office or out meeting clients. I don't wear suits being in a tropical island. I wear business casual, jeans and polo shirts. This will be my first Rolex and not likely my last. Thanks in advance.[IMG][/IMG]
