Jaeger LeCoultre 176 84 70 wrist watches news:
I have a couple of questions about what I believe to be a Lange. First, am I correct from what you see in my photo? The case is three piece, 14K. I am not sure how these open and with the seals probably won't try. The dial is a buttery gold color. Overall, the watch is in extremely good condition, shows very little wear. Didn't draw much attention in the online auction. I was shocked.Next question, why would some of the cld models be marked cld on the dial and some not? Was it due to the fact the gold filled models were but, for the extra price of the solid gold models they didn't feel that needed to be stated?Lastly, what was the duration of production for the cld watches? I see the Lange in Tom's posting of the 1949 catalog but, am not sure how long they produced the models or what year mine would represent. Thanks,Rob
That's right, it's a pair (his-44mm and hers-40mm pair). Time to get the straps ImageUploadedByTapatalk1355456245.459681.jpg
i still dont know much about this watch if it is rare or not i know my great grandpa bought it in illinois and has original box and was just serviced and cleaned about 2 years ago keeps perfect time
Was out walking back from dinner tonight wondering how well I could see the lume on my 15300. Turned out I couldn't see the lume at all but the white/silver dial easily caught and reflected very low ambient light from just about any source. Who needs lume when the whole dial catches and reflects light?
hey guys, in a couple of short years, I'll be hitting 40, and want to get myself a Patek that is from 1977. I have tried googling this without success, and other than the nautilus, what other references might I look for that have model from 1977?
