Jaeger LeCoultre Q1342420 wrist watches news:
I received such good advice and opinions from my first thread question (re: Rolex Seadweller luminosity difficulty) I figured I'd ask one more!My watch has been "sitting" without use for several (10?) years now and could use service at this pointcleaning, lubrication, resealing of the gasket (?), etc. Where to go for such service-I'm presuming Rolex but has anyone an idea of $ involved as well as timeframe? I'm just 2 1/2 hours from the Big AppleI guess the Rolex USA headquarters?Karl
Are there any decent winders that don't cost much that I can use until I'm ready to buy a nicer one? Even for a low end one, I'd prefer one that will take two watches.

I know that it deserves to go to someone who would appreciate not just the lineage of the watch and its history, but the immaculate condition that it presents. This is no daily wearer, and the minute it be
Or is The Seamasters and Speedmasters getting harder to find, new or used? They use to be listed everywhere but not so much lately every time I find one I like its already sold.
Looking at an Omega Speedmaster. Manual wind with see through back. 50 meter water resistance. How wil it hold up for surface swimming, doing laps in a pool. Also, OMega Brochure states when originally designed it passed 11 sringent test from NASA. Does anyone know what these test where?
