Awards Presented in Patek Philippe Artisanship and Precision Competition
On April 14 and 15 this year, 18 students from six Swiss watchmaking schools took part in the second Patek Philippe Artisanship and Precision Competition. The winners were honored on May 28, 2011, during a celebration at the Patek Philippe Museum in the presence of Patek Philippe President Thierry Stern as well as Robert Anguenot and Daniel Rochat. The competition affirms Patek Philippe’s intention to build solid, long-lasting partnerships with Swiss watchmaking schools. This is a landmark for a mechanical watch in my collection - my Breitling Chrono Cockpit turned 3 today. I am getting that itch again, think I need an AP
Really want to add an AP into the collection. Have had a RO, 2 ROO and 2 44 Novelties in the past. For one reason or another I am without an AP at the moment. Gave one to one of my sons and traded or sold the others away. Was thinking about a RO or the ROC. Wish the ROC had an inhouse movement or that would be a simple move. Still thinking of getting a black dial to offset my white Daytona. Had a chance to see the black dial Rose on strap and WOW is that something. Haven't seen the white dial must be impressive too. Anyone have first hand experience/opinions on these two?ROO - to me the black with red is far and away the best iteration. Having never owned a Diver, that has my attention too. I see a lot of these being traded, why does it appear people tire of these?Couple questions, anyone own a ROC and a Daytona, if so, does the Daytona ever see the light of day?I know in the past with a RO it recieved it's fair share of time. AP Steel Diver on leather strap??? Anyone?
Hi there, just curious to see if the Diver looks great with leather strap, other than the usual rubber.. Of cos, it looks great on rubber, but I'm seeking new options to match my Diver. Anyone can help with some pics? Thanks.
