Jaeger-Lecoultre 1888120 wrist watches news:
Hey everybody I've finally got a couple "good" questions for you guys, at least I think they're good.I've seen many vintage pics of Subs and SD's and some not so vintage pics(circa 1997ish)with really beautiful well aged patina and so far just about every one I've seen I believe carries the T<25 or T swiss T indicating tritium indices. My SD M series(2007) purchased on December 2008 has either luminova or the superluminova indices. Now here's the questions....should I expect to see some form of patinazation down the road on a luminova dial? And my watch glows green not blue like the new SDDS, is the blue Super Luminova? Thank in advance for all you're help guys!

A little over 20 years ago, my Grandfather died suddenly and his widow, his 2nd wife, simply packed up his belongings and locked them in his workshop with all his tools, and that we sadly thought was that. I was told it had all been given away. So it was quite a surprise to find it all sitting there undisturbed when she passed away earlier this year. I found amongst it all a very sorry looking Omega Seamaster Memomatic. It wasn't working and the movement was clanking around inside, but still I was excited at the thought of getting it working again and having a quality lasting memory of him to hand down to my son. I took the watch to 3 different watch makers; 2 of whom told me it was rusted through and not worth their time to restore, and the 3rd quoted me ?1200+ to see it working again. Rather downheartedly I trudged home with it in my pocket. On my route I passed a jewellers I had walked past hundreds of times in my life and never really looked in. This time however I noticed a small
I recently bought couple APs ROO (Volcano and FC 44 mm) and looking to add one more ROO. I like to build diverse collections from same brand. I decided to take to the forum and ask your advice. I am considering 3/4 different APs and not sure which one to pick (great problem to have).Couple things I want to share here about me:1. I DO LOVE BIG WATCHES (SIZE MATTERS)2. I own few gold watches (WG, RG and YG) already and they don't get much wrist time (I prefer my stealthy looking watches)3. my favorite watch from all the watches I have is Volcano (for fun orange color)4. Volcano sits more comfortably on my wrist than 44 mm Help me out, which one do you think fits better in my collection:1. 44mm RG2. Bumblebee3. RG Rubber Clad (with new dial)4. Panda on bracelet 5. your recommendationAttached pictures of the watches I tried last week, which one will look the best next to FC 44mm and Volcano?Thank you in advance
