Are some of us biased by what's inside a watch more than it's outward appearance? Here's a couple examples to illustrate my point:This is a boring watch - no complications, not even a date window nor second hand.Yet because it has one of the finest ultra-thin automatics ever made I had to have it. Adding fuel to the fire was the article from WatchTime in 2005 which included this watch as 1 of 4 AP's featured. That made it a compulsion that superseded every other watch I was considering at the time.Here's another piece of evidence offered to make my case:This watch was destined for the sales fora because I was sure it was just another ETA movement and I've owned dozens. Been there, done that. BUT as soon as I found out it had the same Piguet automatic as some very well known watches it gained so much status that it's become flavor of the week,
