Maurice Lacroix lc6016-ss002-170 wrist watches news:
I was able to go to a prerelease viewing of QOS last night.WOW!!! It was terrific! There were quite a few gratuitous wrist shots with the Bond PO in the movie. I wonder how much Omega paid for the product placement for this one? No Rolex vs. Omega reference, though! There is one scene where he is opening a door and you get a nice long look at the watch, lume glowing and all.You won't be disappointed! ;)
Hi all,I am new to collecting and this is my first post. I think I got really lucky at the Goodwill store this weekend and would like some opinions on my aquisition. I paid $75 for this because I thought this was a great looking watch. The watch does run, but their is a problem with the stem - it is permanently in the setting position but can still be wound be pushing in the crown and winding. I am a little familiar with the Illinois name so I bought it. The watch appears to be completely original down to the band. Any thoughts?101_2010.jpg101_1981.jpg101_2012.jpg101_2005.jpg101_1968.jpg
Hello everyone, I was looking for a new watch and I came accross a Stuhrling Original Montague Mechanical Watch 293.33152: I hadn't heard of the brand before so I did some research on it. I couldnt find too much in the way of reviews of this particular watch or of the brand itself, but I did come across some threads on here about people asking if the brand was any good. The responses seemed to be pretty favorable, so I'm still thinking about getting this watch due to its low price ($70).I've looked through the Horology 101 - Understanding your watch thread a bit, so I know what the basics about this watch are. I was wondering if anyone could give me an estimate for how long hand-wound watches stay wound. Would I need to wind it every night? or every couple of days? I've never had a hand wound watch before so I'm curious as to what I'm getting into. Also, at this price ($70) do you think this watch will be of cheap quality? The threads I found on here said that this brand has go
Finally got my Speedmaster Pro after waiting for over a week! I've been reading a lot of reviews on this watch and I figured its an essential watch to have. I really wanted it on leather but got it on a bracelet after reading a post on this forum which made a lot of sense cause an omega bracelet will cost me more later on than a leather strap. Anyway, I'm happy with this purchase! I wonder how long it will be before I go crazy over another watch... that JLC Reverso does look mighty fine on my wrist! HAHAHA!
I hv paid a deposit to an AD for a hulk which now they have been asking me to cancel the booking due to they don’t know when they will get one in. Is it legally they can do so? Or they have to deliver if I disagree to it if I don’t mind the wait?Anyone has encounter this before ? I assume it is a valid contract they must deliver. They offered to put a deposit and I accepted it.
