- I bought this watch for my partner for her birthday. She loves all the features. It is sturdy enough to be casual, but sharp enough to be dressy as well.

Maurice Lacroix MP6508-SS001330 wrist watches news:
While there are a lot of "pilot" watches out there, this one particular design is something that everyone can agree on as being a "pilot" watch. It is one of the 'original' looks, and has fared very well over the years. Many (I mean many) companies have attempted to provide their own interpretation to the design, or additions to the look. Few have been able to improve on the look, and the countless iterations of the theme have remained constant. The benefits of this look is simplicity and legibility, which translates well on a petite watch, or a 55mm beast.Archimede has been making pilot watches of this ilk for a while. The various models skewing the look in various manners, but now with the Pilot H, they have taken things back to the drawing board. The result is something totally stripped down; bearing what is arguably the essence of the genre. You have a brandless dial, with blued hands, and a sober black and white color scheme. Recently I had to send my watch in for warranty repair. I was quite disappointed that a 2 month old watch needed service (broken chronograph function and bad clasp) but that's not why I'm posting this. I'd just like to share my thoughts on the SWATCH service centrein Toronto. They were very good and quite timely. I dropped the watch off personally, it was inspected and the issue was identified in about 10 minutes. I received the repaired watch back in 8 days along with the broken part for a souvenir. On top of the repair and full maintenance service, the watch was thoroughly cleaned and a lot of scratches were polished out. Everyone was very pleasant and the whole experience was very hassle free. The only thing to complain about would be their hours (only open until 4 PM) as they're in downtown Toronto and relatively difficult to get to if you work a 9-5. Anyway, that's it and I would highly recommend the service centre.
Can the silver bezel on an SRP227 be swapped out for a black one?
Hi all,My brother-in-law discovered an old gift that is an Orient Quartz Digi-analog watch, looks like from the 80's. I have agreed to clean it up & replace the battery for him. It has cleaned up really well (the pics below are before cleaning) and I'm looking forward to giving it back to him. However, I took the battery to work today, and have lost it. I don't know what type of battery to get - can anyone help?Pics below are of the caseback & insides, so hopefully someone will recognise the battery type required for it.Thanks in advance....
I am curious which of these two forum members like better and why (and why not).5980/1R5980/1AR
