Maurice Lacroix PT6197-TT003-331 wrist watches news:
"Everything must go! Deals! Deals! Deals! Robert Lighton has be committed due to criminally insane deep discounting! For legal reasons we can't stop the sale so take advantage of it right now for the accountants burn down the store for the insurance money!?? [readers, please take all that in jest as it was intended] Yes, I can hear it nowthe silly commercials, and marketing copy that gets you excited about the sales, and all the rest of the hoopla. That applies to most sales, but sometimes you get something really good. This is one of those times.Robert Lighton New York has had a line of nice watches for a while. Apparently that will cease to be the case as they are closing that side of the business (I blame poor marketing and distribution). Thus, they are closing out their inventory - and the sale is incredible with 55-75% off already fair retail prices. I was fortunate to learn about the sale from my friend at FratelloWatches, who learned about the sale before me. I don't know how ma
Hi everyone I was wondering if someone can help me decide wether I should get a Nanofiber cloth or a Microfiber one. I currently have a microfiber one and it works great but since I am planning on purchasing a couple as gifts ( from Boston Watch Exchange of course) , I'm curious if the nanofiber being 100x finer, does actually work better and/or easier to use maybe? any help would be greatly appreciated
The post by bczolone got me thinking about watches being passed throught the generations. No Hamiltons from my family, but decades ago my great uncle gave me an old Gruen, a mechanical watch from the 1950's. The watch sat in my drawer for years. Recently, I have been considering getting it serviced and a new band for it.When my father passed I got his favorite watch, a quartz Russian Army watch. He had wanted one for years but couldn't find anything decent at the flea markets where he would shop for watches. His cousin brought the watch home from Russia for her husband, but he didn't care for it. My father wound up with the watch.Do you have any watches from your family, Hamilton or otherwise?
Just curious to know if there is a 2-watch travel case anyone could recommend.I would prefer a roll type case because one of the watches is a leather strap bracelet that doesn't lie flat. I'd like to travel with a Submariner and a Big Pilot.Ideally I'd like something in leather or leatherette, with a focus on small and light, but protective. All of my searches turned up members' photos of larger cases...Thanks a lot!John
giving the watch a new look.
