- I have another Lucian Piccard watch that is a true 1 inch face. This picture was very misleading. Watch came in with skiny band, face, and over the weight was not that great.

Hey guess what. You can hear me now (more often than just in review videos) in addition to reading me. John Biggs (of CrunchGearwatches-dealer and WristWatchReviewwatches-dealer) and I have started a new venture with the HourTime podcast show. We will be doing at least a couple of shows a month, talking about watches, between two watch guys. You'll be able to submit questions, comments, and of course topic requests. For more information, or to listen to the shows, visit HourTimeShowwatches-dealer.We just released our first show, "About Us and a Trip to Japan." It is still a bit rough, the audio levels need to be tweaked so we sound as "delightful" as possible. It is gonna get better from here, and I understand that you'll be able to subscribe to the show on iTunes soon. I'll likely post here on aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer with each new show.In this first episode, we introduce ourselves, tell you what we do and where we come from with watches and discuss a few watch pet peeves. Listen, I have a 7 week old M 16610. I've been wearing it consistently every day since acquistionmenship. However, over the past three days, I've worn it approximately 4-5 hours per day. When I slipped it on my wrist this afternoon, I noticed that it was stuck at 11:45. I removed it and jiggled it around for a couple of seconds and it sprang back to life. I am fairly certain I am correct in stating that the power reserve should keep the movement functioning so long as its worn a few hours per day. It never sat dormant over the course of those 3 days, it was always worn at least a couple of hours per day. I may be incorrect and it may be that the watch simply stopped. It has never been dropped or banged into a wallits been absolutely babied from day one. Which is itexhausted the power reserve or faulty movement? Thanks, dogs.
I am thinking about changing up my collection a little bit and the piece in question is my DDII ... While I love the way it feels and looks, I have been thinking of changing the dial for a while now. Which brings me to the consideration of a RG Novelty... My minimal hesitation is the rubber strap but I saw a leather band option at the AP boutique. Perhaps the ROC in RG?My question is does this trade make sense? I have always wanted a DDII and was fortunate enough to source it after a long wait. I just wish the dial would be more 'intricate' like in AP's. Another variable is to get the RG SkyDweller on bracelet when it comes our later this year. Would appreciate any insight. Am I crazy to consider this?Borrowed pics
