I noticed most sites list the retail price for the watch around $3600-$4000 but they all sell it for around $1000. Anyone know why this is? Is it a clearance model or is it one of those that was never selling for anywhere near the retail price?Thanks

Hello and Happy Holidays, I have been offered a Paul Breguette nugget dress watch with integral band for $100. I assume the watch is gold platedI've only seen a picture of it-the movement is quartz, and I have been assured it's a genuine Breguette Swiss movement and not a replica. It has just been serviced, using original parts and a new battery. Good deal or not? I've searched all my watch books and the internet, and can't find the watch anywhere! Thanks so much! Jack.

It looks very nice. They list prices in CHF, but what’s up with this: “*Current price including VAT applicable at our Patek Philippe Salons in Geneva, Switzerland. Authorized retailers may determine the price to their customers.” I don’t like this at all! Does that mean ADs can charge whatever they want???
