- I love this watch! It's light, easy to use and looks good, too. I've searched for a great athletic watch and after years of looking I found it with this Timex. It actually has replaced my fancy watch and I wear it all the time.

Omega 123.55.31.20.63.001 wrist watches news:
When one thinks of Stowa, there are a few watches that immediately spring to mind. Front and center are the iconic Fliegers, followed closely by their Marine chronometers and the Antea series. But there is another watch in Stowa's catalogue that almost never gets mentioned, overshadowed by its more popular siblings: the Partitio Klassik. The Partitio is the hidden gem of Stowa's lineup¡ªa classically styled 3-hander that may offer their greatest value, especially given today's favorable exchange rates for American buyers. As of this writing, the Partitio is 579 EUR excluding VAT (690 EUR with), which is approximately $667 USD.The Partitio was first released in 2008, initially through the German retailer Manufactum before becoming a standard model in the brand's catalogue. That inaugural offering featured a black dial, with the overall design very similar to a watch Stowa made back in the 1930s. In 2012, Stowa unveiled an update to the line featuring a white dial with parchment colored l
This week, Bring A Loupe focuses on a perennial favorite: vintage Omegas, from an intriguing Railmaster to an exotic Speedmaster. We will also examine one of the very first Rolex Submariners with crown guards, a reference 5513 with a flawless gilt dial. And to round things out, we have a couple of chronographs from Breitling and Universal Geneve, each with their own interesting quirks. This is your Bring A Loupe for January 8, 2016. An Early Rolex Submariner Reference 5513, A Stunning Vintage Sub With Glossy Gilt Dial 1 OF 12 This dial instantly tells you one thing: you are not looking at your average Submariner. This vintage Sub exhibits exactly what we love: a deep glossy dial and a fat case. The dial is marvelous, with a lacquer finish characteristic of the early 5513s. Until 1966, the reference 5513 boasted a glossy dial with gilt lettering ("gilt" referring to the golden color). Only after 1966 would the Submariners have the matte dials we described
Is there a way to suppress the display of the two "contest-winning" images that appear at the top of this Hamilton Forum page (and pages subsidiary to it). They're nice shots, but: (a) they've outstayed their welcome; and (b) they're so large that they (in total) occupy more than one screen's worth of the site. I'm getting tired of all the ubiquitous scrolling I must do to get down to the forum content. It's annoying. I'm just sayin'.....
For fun, assuming a scenario like The Walking Dead, you are one against a million zombies and you get to choose one and only one watch. Which would it be? This would has to be from your current collection. with a take on Rumsfeld's line, "you face the zombie apocalypse with the watch you have, not the watch you want."Here are the perimeters:-You are not part of Sheriff Rick's group, thus your chance of survival has just increased by 250%-You have a safe hideout, or adequate transporation-You have adequate food and supplies-You have a copious amount of ammo-you are smarter than dead peopleConsidering that the industrial world has just collapsed and the internet along with it, I'd take this Revue Thommen to keep track of days and months. I know which months have 31 days, but ultimately I'd off a day on leap years, but still, I'd have a good sense of the months and years as they went by. Additionally, it might be useful to know when the moon would light the way. While it is a dress w
Anyone had any success with them?I have a 15300 and always struggled a bit with the fitment. Now that I have a couple of other pieces with the glidelock, it has become even more evident. Two links out, its somewhat of a bracelet and slides down to my hand too much and crown dig happens. Three links out and good when my wrist is straight but any movement and it is too tight, leaving an impression on my wrist. So I think the 1.5 link is the answer but curious if anyone here has had any success with them before I order from APNA. Thanks in advance! Photo below for reference, this is with 3 links out. Took one out this morning as with only two, it was sliding around too much.
