A. Lange & Sohne Germany Visit Trip Update: Winter Watch Wonderland
I am in Germany maybe 10 minutes and the signs of watch insanity are in my face. On my 4 hour layover in Munich to Dresden I am surprised to see that Munich's domestic terminal is basically one big watch store. There is a huge open watch store in the middle with tons of rare brands, and those that you don't even see in America at all, such as Certina and Union Glashutte. There is certainly an air of haute horology already. The first picture is of a magazine and gift store display. They actually highlight their collection of watch magazines! This is just too much good stuff, and I am on my way to being prepared for A. Lange & Sohne's upcoming spectacular display.I spent most of my first day in Glashutte where A. Ceramic diver getting rare
With all the black ceramic diver incomings and the fact it's being discontinued it seems to get harder to find, on chrono24 there are just 3 on sale, 1 in the US, 1 in Hong Kong and 1 but used in Denmark, there are more white ones though but I would not get a white one, except if having a large collection and wanting to add a fun watch for weekends and holidays.I could be wrong but I have a feeling the black ceramic diver is going to become a highly collectable piece, like the 15300 and other pieces, I mean it seems to have been made at less than 600 pieces, mine is around 550 and I just got it, so the final number should be around 600 which is very limited and much more limited than some limited editions.Plus the fact that it' a really cool watch seems to me all the makings for a very collectable piece, with the 44mm ceramic ROO's it's definitely the coolest ceramic piece around, all the other ceramic watches I've seen, Pam 335, Omega DSOTM and a few others are no where near as cool a

New to Breitling and watch collecting in general
I was wondering where the pros on here consider the best source for Breitlings, local AD's or is it better to buy from the right website? It is only in the last 4-5 months that I've caught the fever, so I apologize if the answer is painfully obvious.TIA

So I had another thread on the AP RO. I was struggling with whether to buy the AP 15400. While I was trying on the vacheron overseas and debating the 15400, my wife asked...if you had the Daytona, nautilus or royal oak in front of you which would you buy? I replied the nautilus, but I’ll never get it cause of wait list. But would love the Daytona, but also long list. So whatever... Fast forward to days end. I just put down 20% down payment for a Daytona C black which I will get in 2 months. :).
