- This watch is impressive in all respects. The sizing was perfect and the watch, while heavy enough to convey quality, is not too bulky. This was a gift for husband, we are both very pleased!

Omega 1203.30.00 wrist watches news:
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the launch of their first automatic chronograph movement, Breitling is introducing two limited editions of its Chrono-Matic model. The first is the Chrono-Matic 1461, a stainless steel edition of 2,000 pieces combining a chronograph with a calendar that requires adjustment once each leap-year. The second, in red gold, is a chronograph with perpetual calendar in red gold, limited to just 125 pieces and called the Chronomatic QP.The numeric component of the Chrono-Matic 1461 name refers to the number of days the calendar can “remember” the date. The day, date and month are displayed via subdials with straight hands that create an instrument panel look. The 1461, shown below, comes on a woven steel Aero Classic bracelet. The Chrono-Matic QP’s movement consists of almost 500 parts. The movement displays the date, day, week, month, season, and moon phase, taking account of leap-years. Both the QP and the 1461 are COSC-certified chronomet

When Hamilton was more than Just a Wristwatch . . .In an effort to move mail more quickly, Assistant Postmaster General Otto Praeger instituted the first regularly scheduled airmail service in the world. It took just 200 minutes for a letter to travel from New York to Washington DC., fast by the standards of the time. Today, mail is more commonly sent via cyber "airway" - email, and it arrives at its destination almost instantly. Times have certainly changed. When the first regularly scheduled airmail service was established, the pilots were military officers and they carried with them two instruments to fly by - a compass and a wristwatch. Both instruments were necessary for what was commonly known as "dead-reckoning" flying. Pilots would quip at the time: ¡°With "dead-reckoning," if you "reckon" wrong, you're dead.¡± And that almost came to pass.On May 15th 1918, airmail¡¯s inaugural flight, two pilots were set to leave at the same time - one from Washington DC, heading toward New

Hi all,Thanks for chiming in. I got a call from my AD today about a piece I was ¡°kind of¡± on the list for. It is the new moon phase Cellini. I wanted to see this piece in person and decide if I wanted to buy it or not. When I saw it in person today, I really did like the watch. It wore very comfortably. However, here is the issue. I saw an ever rose sky dweller on a strap and it caught my attention as well. When I got home I did some research and found out the sky dweller on a strap could be had for around 25k used which is roughly around the same price for a new moon phase Cellini. Which one would you guys go for? Here are some shots of the watches on my actual wrist. Added a picture of the blue dial ss sky dweller on the bracelet for another opinion! Thanks for looking!
