Omega 121.17.35.50.05.001 wrist watches news:
I do not own a winder.......yet, and may or may not get one; but, I have a few questions on them:- is it possible to damage a watch when it is on a winder for xx amount of days?- Are there various settings on watches, or are they plug and play?- And if there are settings, are they different for a DJ vs a Sub?Thanks.
I am new to Omega watches. Heck new to watches period.I inherited a Omega Speedmaster Proffesional. I have a bunch of questions.I believe it to be a pre moon watch. Am i right in thinking the 65 is the date of manufacture?I found the s105-012-65 by removing the back. There is some hand engraving that appears to be 10843 or I0843. Does this mean anything.Removing the next cover displays the number 321 and 22827471. Does that mean movement 321 and serial number 22827471?Finally the watch keeps good time but the second hand and the buttons on the side do not appear to be working. Approximately how much does it cost to fix this and where would I start to research a place to get it repaired? I live in Nashville Tn if that makes any difference. Finally the watch appears to be in good condition other than the bezel?? that reads Tachymeter appears to have significant wear on it washing out the Tachymeter part mostly. What significance does the . over the 90 on bezel mean? I saw one on Ebay that
I am starting off the week with the 16710. How about you?-Ross

A gold 5131 is my grail. I'm ready to start working on getting one. I intend to keep it until it's handed down.I works for me at retail, but on the secondary market I can't touch it.I know it's an application piece and something I can't just walk in and purchase. So my questions are. How do I go about being considered a viable option when I submit an application? How many watches does one normally have to purchase prior to being accepted for a 5131? Is it completely out of the realm of possibility to be accepted with the 5131 being the first Patek purchase?Generally what do I need to do to put myself in a position to get a 5131 at retail.I'm looking at this as a multi year process for myself. Thank you.
