Incoming...Seiko Scuba Diver 7002-700A
Received this 1995 vintage Seiko 7002-700A Scuba Diver today from a Phillipines ebay seller. This watch is in very fine shape and from a seller who has a good reputation for vintage Seikos. I'm very pleased. This is my 1st Seiko Diver. It won't be my last, as I also intend to get at least 1 or 2 modern ones in the not too distant future as well.

Pulsar - The Rest of the Story
It has been established in other threads that Pulsar was a Division of Hamilton. It has also been established that Pulsar came out with the first digital watch in 1972, a 14k gold watch for $2,100!. Foghorn also has established the fact that Pulsar is now part of Seiko......How did this happen?Texas Instruments brought the digital watch to us through an "assembly line" process ala Henry Ford. This enabled them to come to the market in 1975 with a $20 watch. In 1976 they cut that in half (the plastic case)! This level of competition saw Pulsar lose $6 million and find itself sold to competitors twice in the space of a year, eventually becoming a subsidiary of Seiko and reverting to making analogue quartz watches.

Incoming! PAM 911: "Last one for Paneristi"
Saw the PAM 911 announced on Instagram last week and decided to take a chance on it even though I never saw it in person. The early photos definitely didn't do it justice with most pics making the dial look bright green. Photographing this watch is tough and its hard to get a really good feel for it unless you see it in person. In the steel, the watch is a stunner and the dial is more of a dark camo/military type green. Its color is subtle and changes between green and grey depending on the lighting.Big thank you to Khalil at Panerai Central and Julie at the Costa Mesa Panerai boutique for making it happen.
