- The watch looks exactly like the picture. It's larger than I thought it would be but that's great for a guy's watch. It's a Christmas gift for my son and he loves retro stuff so I know he will love this.

Omega 4370.71 wrist watches news:
1989 Swiss Army releases their first timepiece. It is called the Original. I have no idea if it was originally called the original. That would be ironic, sort of. It is certainly an icon though. Everyone has seen this watch. Either on someone's wrist, in a store, or just online. This is the original Swiss Army watch designOK, I need to stop saying "original."The great thing about the Original is that it is still made and sold today. Holy crap, is this the VW Beetle of timepieces? In a sense it sort of is. Today the original Original retails for about $195 (a bit cheaper online) and still keeps active types happy with its 37mm wide nylon fiber case and easy to read dial with iconic red bezel. Wow, I am suddenly nostalgic for the early 1990s.Now in 2011 the Victorinox Swiss Army Original watch is back. No, not exactly the same watch, but the new Original, that I think is technically still called the Original. What do we call the original Original? Swiss Army, why do you confuse us so? Wi
Hi allAs I have mentioned before, I intend acquiring a GMT II but got to thinking (which is dangerous) about magnetic fields and watches. I know the parachrom hairspring is not affected by magnetic fields but are there other aspects I am unaware of? I work in very close proximity to high voltage lines, like in contact with them occasionally, and although I have not noticed any electrical / magnetic effects on my phone, credit cards or other sensitive items I do not want to ruin a good watch through ignorance. Are there any other parts in the GMT II which could by affected by strong electric / magnetic fields? I currently own a Breitling Aerospace and it has functioned perfectly despite a very hard life so I doubt my fears are valid but I thought it worthwhile to inquire from more experienced minds. Thanks.
Good thing I have my Navitimer with me with the temperature conversion scale so now I know that it is 79 degrees Farenheit over here Good thing I dressed accordingly with a linen shirt:Kind regards,Cinq
