Omega LIMITED EDITION wrist watches news:
Any idea what are the profit margins on the resale of Rolex watches? I know there are various factors that play in the bottom line - e.g. model, year, series, condition, etc - but what would be in general or ball park figure? how much does a retailer has to play with? I'm looking for an Explorer II (white dial) and have seen a range of 3500-4100. alam
In addition to the two beautiful straps from Micah that I received on MON, 3 more showed up in my mailbox today: - elephant beige - elephant blue - python black/white.Micah's straps are without any doubt superior, but being a wild & curious man that I am I think that "python" is getting on strapped first ;)Ya' you were right....the strap sickness is addictive :D(but it's also a lot of fun)
Gents, Does anyone know of any good online magazines or other resources that references IWC. I'm interested in readining up on the different movements and also some history on their older watch ranges (circa 1900 - 1970)..Cheers!
Where do you guys/gals stand? If you had the choice between a "top-of-the-line" model of a less-prestigious, but decent watchmaker (let's say Tissot), or a "lower-end" model of a more-prestigious brand (let's say Longines), which would you choose? Let's say all things are relatively equalfor example they have similar movements, ages, and you like both designs equally: Which way to go?I am in that buying range where this question arises often for me (the sort of $500-$1000 range), and just wonder how others think about this. Cheers
The 39mm ROC is sweet perfection!
