Omega 2594.52.00 wrist watches news:
Zenith ¨C Elite 6150At last year's Baselworld, Le Locle brand Zenith used the name of one of its calibres from 1994 for a new model: Elite 6150. Fans of classic timepieces fell head over heels for the super-slim and super-smart steel watch with a silver dial. A second model is now available in steel or rose gold. Elite Chronograph Classic is the latest addition to the new collection and the brand is pushing its vision forward this year with a "precious" version of the Elite 6150.Its super-slim gold 42mm case glows with warm coppery accents. The watch has the signature self-winding Elite 6150 calibre which brings the time functions and 100-hour power reserve to life. The dial bears slender gold indices which softly unfurl on the black minute track. A pair of leaf-shape hour and minute hands burst from the silver disc alongside a slim central seconds hand.Price: 12,900 CHFBy Sharmila Bertinzenith
I created THIS yesterday :) Dial off of an old child's Timex mechanical I wore when I was 10-12 years old plus the case and Quartz movement from an el-cheapo Berger wristwatch and a nice leather strap timex.jpgAbsolutely worthless and a tad ugly BUT the first time I have used this dial to tell time with since 1981 :)
My 15400 stopped ticking a few days ago. I tried to wind it a little bit to see if it would start ticking, but it is still not ticking. The piece was purchased from a boutique about a month ago. I will be calling APSC tomorrow... Hopefully its nothing too serious. Anyone have a problem like this? Thanks
Hi folks,Been lurking here and reading while trying to decide between a AT w/ 8500 or a PO w/ 2500. Thanks so much for all the excellent info and discussion.Having finally decided on the AT, I attempted to place my order with Windsor Jewelers, purportedly in Dyer, Indiana. I chose Windsor from a number of online sites because of their seriously low price (discount of 46% on the watch + 10% on all orders). They do not claim to be an AD but DO claim that their watches are all purchased from AD's and thus the OM warranty is effective, etc.I tried to place my order via telephone and could not get anything but an answering machine. So, I decided to see how it would be to place an online order. After filling out all the registration information (name, rank, serial number) I got to the point that I expected to be asked for my credit card info, only to be prompted to Check your email. The email says that in order to provide their customers with these amazing prices, the only way I can pay for
Rolex 1991 Explorer ii 16570 Black Dial IssuesHey guys, I bought a Rolex Explorer ii 16570 Black Dial from a vendor in Miami a few weeks ago (I will not name them just yet, but I can later on if required - I want to give them the benefit of the doubt).I believe I got the watch at a good price, it did come complete with papers, box, service records etc. However it arrived appear to be a lot more scuffed up than pictured. I indicated to the seller that I wasn't happen about this and they refunded me the equivalent of the cost of a polish. OK, not great, but cheaper than posting it back (from Australia). My main issue now and something I would like the opinion of any experts here is when I received the watch, I wound it, around 30 times. Nothing happened, I shook it gently, still nothing, wound it again, then it started running. So I then set it to the exact time here in Melbourne and kept a close eye on it. Later that day, it had lost half an hour. Ok, so I wound it again, set it to exact
