- This is a BEAUTIFUL watch and gets lots of compliments. It looks much more expensive than it is. It is large, but that is what makes a statement.

Omega 3220.50.00 wrist watches news:
I did some searching but really didn't see this addressed. So here's the issue:I'll likely be purchasing a Rolex and I'm debating between the GMT and the Submariner. It will probably be SS and black dial. So, for those that have had to make the choice, what pulled you in?For me, this will be a daily wearer- more or less - as I have a few good, a better (Citizen Skyhawk AT) and one great watch (Omega AT Seamaster).I like the functionality of the GMT and I'm not a diver but I do travel some. However I want the more durable watch- if that even matters. My problem is I like them both, and from what I've read, the Sub appears to have a bit more history to it. Also, with the GMT having an "extra" hour hand, might this make the movement any less reliable? I apologize if this is an ignorant sounding post, but I thought I'd give it a try.And thanks to all that have posted great info about these two pieces already.
Hi, I have just started collecting seiko and am wondering what is this model and age it has a 6309a movement, also is there a knack to changing the date as I can't ! please see photos, thanks, Nickseiko 005.jpgseiko 001.jpg
I read elsewhere on the net a watch brand, known for it's beefy designs, diamonds, quartz movements, that is only sold on TV claims the timepieces are assembled with with Swiss movements under contract in Switzerland. The other components are of the "highest quality," but made elsewhere and imported. The owner of this company says his watches would qualify for the "Swiss Made" logo, but he has chosen not to put it on the timepieces (though he used to tout the quality of his diamonds on the cases). He says he won't use Swiss Made on his watches until every piece (bracelet, screws etc.) is made in Switzerland. It is a personal issue with him.Do you believe him?I find it incredulous. Of course, I have never spoken to the guy - just watched him on TV.
Just wonderedWithout a cross country train trip to see for myselfAre the bracelets on the 15400 series as polished in gold as they are in steel? .Thanks
Thanks to the generosity of GT500 (John), I have a new OEM strap for the 390. It makes the tobacco dial appear darker almost graphite and the cream stitching perfectly matches the lume. Love this watch. Have a great weekend
