Oris 635 7588 70 67 wrist watches news:
searching for a new genuine Poljot strap for my Strela. The original strap is butter smooth leather inside with textile outer, Poljot logo burnished inside the strap - or maybe they call it tooled leather? I've worn the watch often enough that the textile is looking tattered and freyed - looks really ratty, want a new original strap. AnYwAy, found a place, but I'm confused on the price, it's listed at EUR 9,99 a quick google conversion = $1,300.79 . . .?? are you kidding me - am I doing something wrong ? I can't read any part of the online site, but it's pictures show 9 separate of these Poljot straps - many colors of textile - but DANG, $1,300.79. . . . It would work out to $144.53 per strap, which is almost acceptable, but DANG I don't need all 9 of these straps at this cost. . . BUT iif I was to convert 9.99 instead of 9,99 it seems WAY too cheap for this buttery soft leather strap. . . Any Idea's? Any one know a good place to find original Poljot leather/textile strap to fit a S

I want to buy a skeleton watch, that can be cheap (as I can't afford one high-end brand by now, too much mid range watches bought this year :D), and was looking at the Fossil lines of skeleton watches. All I can find, have China Movements, anybody know about the quality of this movements? they seem be pretty nice, but not sure about the real quality...I know that for the cost, I can't expect too much, but who knows, maybe they can be surprinsingly well made, as I see that Fossil have a very good product for the price range...Found some from $79 to $140, for an auto skeleton, I think is very cheap...Any thoughts?
I've been looking at this watch and asking myself is it a watch that I could wear.Patek6000G.JPGIt is 37mm wide. Now O.K. it is a dress watch but it is still slightly on the small side. However that 37mm becomes smaller when one takes into account that the outer ring is the date, so the hands and the hour and minutes function is smaller, yet again, than say a regular 37mm watch. So although it is a nice watch and a $18,000 price tag is significant (white gold), I would have to say this watch is not for me on aesthetic grounds. However the movement is a piece of art.I'm not sure how water resistant this watch is, if at all, but with those expensive leather straps...well let me just say, you would take it off before washing the dishes.
