What German watch alternatives to Sinn/Stowa/Damasko?
Hello, I was wondering if someone would be able to point me in the right direction of which brand of watch to purchase.I am wanting to buy a German watch for my fiance, as I know he likes the simple styling of the Sinn, Stowa and Damasko watches. Unfortunatley I cannot afford to buy any of those particular brands. My budget is in the region of ��200, and I would like to buy him an equally stylish watch.My 1st question is - Is it silly of me to buy a watch for him that isn't one of the 3 brands he likes, and are the other makes like Junkers, Messerschmit and Aristo not as good? My 2nd questions is - If it isn't silly - what brands should I be looking at? So far I have been looking at Junkers, Aristo & Trias, but have since realised that Trias is not a true German watch. I hope I have given enough information. Thank you for reading.

Got a call today from OC Tanner Jewelers in Salt Lake City and they just yesterday got in a brand new 5711 blue dial which I had put my name on the list for back in October. As I mentioned in my previous 5711 post, I'm getting one from my local dealer (coming this week!) so I'm passing on this one as well. But, if anyone here is interested, call and ask to speak with Salvo. I was first on the list but he said there are others after me so hurry if you want one now!
