Service rant
OK, not being a native speaker I am poor at rants How can it be fair that you have to pay regularly for overpriced servicing to a watch that was very expensive in the first place. Say, you buy a watch water proof to 300 meters, but if you don't change the 1$ rubber parts every 4 years, for like 200$ you can't trust taking a shower with it, and it's all YOUR fault It is a bit ironic, because I bought a high quality watch with some idea of it lasting for generations. Do I really own a watch or if I am an indentured servant to Omega? Am I the first one to get that thought?

Different watches of course with a much more complicated mechanism in the DS-hence the chunkiness of that watch- Nonetheless I love both for different reasons. I have been posting info on the wrong type of strap i recently picked up ! Come to find out it is a calf strap still but it comes off a 2002 Purdy 155 with the yellow unboxed stitching . And is more of a brownish type than anything , would this look better on a steel model or titanium !!!!!
