I do applaud Romain Jerome for being so ballsy and avant garde. They have made some nice one-off or limited edition pieces that spit in the face of fellow Swiss who are highly conservative most of the time - especially in terms of watch design. Actually, even Romain Jerome's non limited edition watches are "special." Love them or hate them you have to appreciate their niche and determination to be different.? However, that doesn't mean I have to love everything they make. This new special "art" watch by French artist Andr¨¦ Ch¨¦ca is a bit much for me. It is one of those things that I freely admit not liking, but appreciate the artistic endeavors behind it, and that it exists. My AT w/2500c stopped running
I wanted an Aqua Terra ever since they first came out, and at the end of July I finally purchased one, albeit used. I went with used because I only wanted the older style in mid-size and this has become very hard to find still in AD stock. Long story short, I begrudgingly bought it at Tourneau because it was the only place that had one after many, many calls around to dealers and months of searching forums for the one I wanted (silver dial). Tonight I was out taking my usual evening walk with my daughter when I looked down to check the time and my AT was stopped cold. I thought this was odd since I had been wearing it all day at work (office environment, not hard on watch) and it was running just fine when we started off on our walk. Took it off, wound it by hand several times, gently shook it, tapped case, etc. Nothing. Totally bizarre, and unlinke anything I've ever experienced with a mechanical watch whether new or 50+ years old. My SMP has run perfect since day one when I got it 6

Hey GangMy buddy buys 3 pocket watches at a flea market for $25He is all excited and brings them to me at work.I shot some photos:The first photos are of the Omega (including pocket knife on chain)Then next are of the American WalthamThe last are of the other WalthamThe Waltham cases are gold filled and the Omega case appears to be sterling.The Engraving design on the American Waltham outer case is a train and is kinda nice.Can you give me a ballpark as to what these are and if they have any value.He is my buddy and I really would love to get him some help.Appreciate any general thoughtsThanks,Greg

Well, I've consolidated a bit and this is what I'm down to.Bvlgari Carbongold Barcelona ( i know horologically it's a toy, but its a fun watch)IWC Ingenieur and 3227 with tritium dial on iwc croc and deployant.and the bottom two are "un-sellables"Great-uncle's vintage vacheron pocket/wrist conversion, and a seiko diver mod I did myself.sorry for the very poor picture, it's really not my strong point.There are some macro shots following this link you may enjoy though!!Thanks!Cracked open my 3227 for your viewing pleasure!

hi guysi want to buy new AP,i don't know which model to buy.today at the store i tried the 15300 And suddenly it looks small to me because I got used to my roo panda...What do you think would be more in demand? the 15300 because Stop producing it? or the 15400 because it new Collection and because The tendency today is big watches?I have a price of 11500$ for the 15300 from AD of AP.this is good price or can i argue more? about 10000-10500$?the 15400 is 500-700$ morethank you
