Panerai PAM00302 wrist watches news:
I can either pick up a new 2254 now or I can wait for a Black Bond to show up at the ADI already have a 2220.80. I really like the sword hands on the 2254 but I like the Bond bracelet a great deal too. All I really know for sure is my next watch must have a black dial. (and be an Omega) What should I do, and why?
So I decided I wanted my next watch to be a vintage, and a lot of the older Omegas are really calling to me. Before I go and dive into the bay though, I need you guys to help me sort through some of the mess. Ideally I'm looking at something around the $200 price point (w/ or w/o strap), so keep that in mind.I had a few questions about the different models first.I keep seeing three names primarily; Deville, Geneve, and Seamaster. I thought these were three separate lines, but I've seen "Deville Seamasters" and so forth. Could someone clarify for me a little which is which? Also, in searching the bay I see a wide variety of dials and cases and such; are there any signs that an Omega is obviously a fake? If its not a problem I'm probably going to post before I bid on something to have some someone verify, but I'm wondering if there's any obvious signs. Thanks a bunch, I promise to post pics in the future. :)
Here is one of my Bulova Accutrons 218s, a neat blue dial wallpaper or tapestry design with a blue gator band.
