Patek Philippe 5100 R wrist watches news:
:):) well, not really..but I am going to a place in the Big Bend Area of west Texas where I am told is so desolate and moon like in appearance that NASA had the moon mission astronauts train for the missions there.. I was also told a few days ago that many times the humidity levels are very close to zero..question, will my 2254 "dive" watch survive this sort of punishment? will it look silly to take pictures of a dive watch "on the moon"? don't I need a Speedy instead? I'm going to take a lot of picturesanybody ever been to this place?:):)diver88
I just put up part 3 of the 9 part podcast interview with T. Walker Lloyd who was an executive with Rolex for almost a quarter century. In part 3, T. Walker Lloyd shares more stories about sports figures, supermodels, celebrities, and President Lyndon Johnson.T. Walker began his career with Rolex as an oceanographic consultant and helped to develop the Rolex SEA-DWELLER with SEALAB and went on to become a senior executive. This is an amazing story and the first and only time I know of when a former Rolex executive went on the record in a detailed recorded interview.Enjoy part 3 and stay tuned for part 4 of 9:RolexWatchBlogMerry Christmas!!!Jake
There are just too big.
My Grandfather recently died and I was given his old watch by my uncle. It's a Lunesa and I have looked for information on the net but haven't been able to find out much. I doubt it's was an expensive watch because my Grandfather was a very frugal man. I would possibly like to have it restored for sentimental reasons.Any info you could give me would be appreciated.
I've seen some people on the forum complain about AP rose gold change color in certain spots on the watch......has anyone incurred this issue and in general how durable would you say AP gold is over time ? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
