The case is made in any 18 k white gold or platinum, with a variety of finishes on the case. The sides are polished, while the bezel is brushed and the dial is satin finished. The hands of the Cathedral of style and the hour markers are in pink gold. One of the best features is the font style of the number markers which looks classic at first, but has a unique modern flair if you observe them carefully. Nice to know Audemars Piguet is not exclusively about the Royal Oak line, nice work AP.

The other day at lunch time, I had a couple of minutes so I paid a visit to an AD just across the street from my office. I got my 2254 a couple of months ago from another AD that I visited 2 weeks ago and was very disapointed with their knowledge and attitude. It was enough for me to look at who would get my money in the future.So, back to the new AD, I was greeted by a nice lady. She was very knowledgeable on her product. We talked about the co-axial movement, the actual model but also some new stuff coming. She said she wouldn't be surprise to see an upgraded seamaster with the co-axial movement at Basel.The main purpose of my visit was to check out and try a PO. I like the 2209 with the orange number but not sure about the orange bezel. That's when she got her big catalog, that I wish I could get a copy, and showed me the new version of the 2209 WITH a black bezel. She ordered two and was waiting for them shortly. Hamilton Khaki Navy GMT - How to Use?
Greetings everyone! I just bought a Hamilton Khaki Navy GMT (Hamilton Watch ¡¤ Navy GMT). Beautiful watch, I absolutely love it! But, I have a question that the manual doesn't seem to go into great detail about. How do you actually use the extra functions of the bezel? On this watch you can use one of the crowns to turn the outer bezel, another crown to set the "city" that is displayed in the small window on the bezel and then the third crown to set the normal time and the "T2" setting. I just don't understand how all the settings work together or how to set them correctly to work with each other. I assume, perhaps incorrectly, that how the outer bezel is set, how the T2 is set and how the city is set all work together but it eludes me as to how.Could someone in the know provide a brief (or detailed...up to you) explanation of how these watches work? Visited a Hamilton AD today...
And let me tell you that if you haven't visited one yet, do so.Seeing all those watches that we normally look at on the web is a site to behold. A lot of them caught my eye, but believe it or not, the rose gold Jazzmaster H32545555 VIEWMATIC PVD 40 with the dark brown leather strap lept out at me. Fantastic looking! They had the chrono version as well which was also beautiful.What didn't originally catch my eye until I looked at it closely was a H32716859 MAESTRO DAY - DATE # H600.327.100 // dark brown leather strap.It has a silver face that was so classy, wellit felt like an IWC Portuguese. Beautiful silver dial.The only Ventura they had was the Anniversary in SS that Rusty picked up.The X-Wind's looked really cool, but a bit busy on the dial. I don't go into AD's often because I don't like salespeople drooling over me waiting to buy something so when I do, it's a treat. Stopped by the local AD today and he made me break the seal on a new 5164. I wish I could say I took it home...maybe next time.
